Country Star Martina McBride helps out Southside ISD families

Country Music star Martina McBride sponsored a food distribution Nov. 30, 2019 that fed more than 1,400 people at the District’s Kym Rapier Food Pantry. McBride is known for her generosity helping feed communities in-need and also women’s justice issues. Members of the Martina McBride Fan Club joined Southside High School students and local community volunteers organize and distribute the food. During the month of November, the number of people from the Southside ISD receiving food from the food pantry has doubled to 2,800.
