8th graders can apply for Early College High School starting Dec. 2, 2019

Parents of 8th grade students at Losoya Middle School and Matthey Middle School can give them a huge advantage in life by enrolling them in the Southside ISD’s Early College High School Program.
The benefit is saving two years of college money and graduating with an associates degree from Palo Alto College. Books, tuition, and fees are free for Southside ISD students.  Also, some students earn anywhere from 3 – 60 semester hours before they graduate.
Anyone interested in signing up for Early College High School should immediately fill out the the application when it comes out December 2.  Losoya Middle School and Matthey Middle School counselors will be providing applications for Early College High School.  Students begin the journey leaving the 8th grade (during the summer, before they start 9th) and continue for 4 years of high school courses at the same time courses at Palo Alto College.
Parents with questions should contact the guidance counselors at Losoya Middle School at 210-882-1602 or Matthey Middle School at 210-882-1601.
