English Language Arts students in Ms. Alicia San Miguel’s classes at Losoya Middle School are adding to the good wishes from Southside ISD to students in El Paso. It follows the August 3 mass shooting at an El Paso Walmart that killed 22 people and injured 24. The FBI is investigating the massacre as a hate crime.
In Ms. San Miguel’s class students offered words of hope, encouragement, and comfort to students in El Paso. Teachers and students in the Southside ISD are responding to an appeal for cards from El Paso teachers.
