The McNay Art Museum in San Antonio has selected two Heritage Elementary teachers for its McNay Art Museum Docents’ Teacher Award. The McNay docents committee selected Heritage Elementary 3rd grade teacher Claudia Wright and Heritage Elementary art teacher Cheryl Kindred as its award winners. Each year, the docents honor two teachers for their commitment to engaging with their students at the McNay. The Southside ISD teachers used the McNay Art Museum in their curriculum. Both teachers will be honored during a luncheon later this month and will each receive a McNay Art Museum membership and a fabulous art book.
