Cheryl Kindred named 2019 Southside ISD Teacher of the Year

We are proud of the outstanding quality of Southside ISD’s teachers and their daily investment and care for students. Selecting just one is difficult. This year, Heritage Elementary art teacher Cheryl Kindred has been selected as the Southside ISD Teacher of the Year. Ms. Kindred has been a teacher in the Southside ISD since 2000; all of them at Heritage Elementary. She is a huge advocate of mental health treatment and counseling. She’s also loved by her fellow teachers and students. Other outstanding Southside ISD teachers who received their Campus Teacher of the Year Awards include:
