Southside High School Senior Daniel Jimenez is passionate about working in construction management and electrical trades. “I know the pay’s good,” he said while explaining his electrical trades project recently in the high school gym. Jimenez’ enthusiasm for the work caught the eye of WOAI News 4 San Antonio reporter Emily Baucum. Baucum learned from the South San Antonio Chamber of Commerce that Southside High School is doing a great job preparing its students for high-paying jobs after they leave high school.
