Southside High School opened its doors this fall to train parents on evenings in culinary, welding, auto technician, and electrician classes. The classes have been a huge success and parents are loving what they’re learning. Clarissa Lott said, “I learned to make sushi. Thanks to Chef Angel Machado, Jr. and thanks Southside for the free classes.” The classes have been so uplifiting to Ms. Lott she added, “I’ve learned so much and I’m hungry for more knowledge. I’m thinking of going back to school for culinary.”
