Nonprofit helps Southside High School students prepare for prom

San Antonio Threads, a nonprofit, helped eight Southside High School students prepare for prom 2018. San Antonio Threads had more than a 100 dresses and suits from which our students could select. The endeavor began a couple of years ago when Southside parent Lucy Adame-Clark and community activist Aurolina Prado began collecting prom dresses. Southside High School counselors took the students to get outfitted. Some students say without the nonprofit’s help, they would not have been able to go to the prom.
