Effective ways for parents to discuss sex with children ages 10-14

Saturday, December 2, 2017, 9:00 a.m.—12:00 p.m.

Families Talking Together Families Talking Together (FTT) is a parent-based program focusing on improving parent-child communication and is effective in delaying sexual initiation and preventing risky sexual behavior among middle-school-aged youth (10-14 yrs.). This session will offer tips and group discussions on getting the conversation started, monitoring/supervision, and helping enhance your child’s refusal skills. This interactive session is offered by staff members from Healthy Futures of Texas.
