The Texas Education Agency (TEA) announced that the online application is now available on the agency website for any community member seeking to serve on the Southside Independent School District board of managers. The online application is also available on the Southside Independent School District website. The application period will run through March 13. CLICK HERE TO APPLY
TEA will host a pre-selection board of managers training session from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 25th, at the Southside ISD Administration Office, 1460 Martinez Losoya Road, in San Antonio. TEA staff will be on hand to explain the significant impact and importance that the appointed board of managers’ decisions will ultimately have on student outcomes in the district. Community members are strongly encouraged to attend and participate in the session.
