Academic ALL-STATE 1st Team— student athlete award recipient here at the High School. His name is Christopher Garcia and is a Senior. This recognition is awarded by the Texas High School Coaches Association. He received this award for being a dedicated, disciplined student athlete towards his academics and as a participant with this year’s football team and was nominated by Head Football Coach Ricky Lock. Christopher was also awarded 2nd team all district honors as a defensive back and punter for this year’s football team. Christopher is currently ranked #2 in his senior class. He has also been awarded the Valero Alamo Bowl scholarship and will be recognized on the field at this year’s Valero Alamo Bowl game on December 29th.
