In honor of the bravery, courage and determination of Texas men and women who assist others in emergencies; Southside ISD would like to invite all first responders, veterans and active duty military to attend our varsity football home game on September 9, 2016 at 7:00pm for a pre-game presentation.
First responders, veterans and active duty military will get in FREE with a valid ID.
We will be passing out American flags and the Southside High School band will play a pre-game rendition of God Bless America followed by a moment of silence. This is in commemoration of the upcoming anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. The event is also to honor those lost on this fateful day.
And, if you get a chance walk over to the High School Gym to check out our Lady Cardinals in action against St. Anthony. Volleyball games get started at 5pm,6pm,7pm.
