Project Lifesaver International

Good morning, Please see the link below to view information on a resource that parents and guardians of children with autism may want to consider, especially if their child is prone to wander off. It is called Project Lifesaver International. It is designed to assist in keeping track of the location of a child. In our area, Project Lifesaver is not yet partnered with local law enforcement, but they have a GPS option to assist parents. This is an extremely powerful tool that can help families avoid/ lessen an emergency situation if a child with autism wanders off. Please see the videos on the link and the information. I am passing this information along as another transition resource for parents to consider; the district is not providing this service. It is an outside organization.
