Thursday, April 7, the J.L. Matthey participated in UIL Concert/Sight Reading Contest in Boerne, TX. The contest is a two part evaluation that Texas bands go through. Each of the two parts of competition includes a panel of three adjudicators. To earn the highest possible score, at least two out of the three judges from each panel must award a first division (superior rating). [read more]
