Congratulations to the Southside Cross Country team onadvancing to STATE!
The boys cross country team took part in the Region IV Championship meet in Corpus Christi Monday morning with hopes of a chance to make it to state. The goal all year long, was making it to state as a team. Lead by Senior Israel Orihulea’s 4th place finish Rene Hernandez’s’ 17th, Nathaniel Rodriguez’s 37th, Matthew Olivarez’s 38th and Jaime Villarreal’s 89th place finish, the boys ran a great race and placed 3rd out 24 teams, with the top 4 teams advancing to State.
The State meet will be held Saturday, November 7th, 11:30AM at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock Texas.
