HONORING A HERO

[soliloquy id=”1700″]The Southside Independent School District Police Department honored fallen Harris County Deputy Sheriff Darren Goforth today outside of Southside High School.  District police officers joined police officers throughout Texas to honor Deputy Goforth by turning on their emergency lights and paying tribute for one minute. Deputy Goforth was gunned down on Friday, August 31 while putting gasoline in his car. The solidarity tribute came at the request of Governor Greg Abbott.
