Team Talon under the instruction of Mr. Ronald Wells went head to head with 65 of San Antonio Area’s best robotics teams in the Edgewood Robotic Invitational Competition, (ERIC). The theme this year was CYBERATTACK, in which terrorists had taken over key industries in cyber city. The task was to repair downed cell towers, capture the terrorists and reopen the airports and banking industries. Team Talon had been engaged in this challenge for the last 6 weeks after school on Mondays and Tuesdays. I am pleased to report that the following students had designed, built and programmed a robot to meet this challenge.
Team Talon, comprised of Ray Rodriguez, William Saeid, Litzi Villasenor, Erica Alejandro , Donnie Averitt, and Charles Arias are the third place winners of the 2015 Erica challenge.
